This blog is a documantation of my art work and the thought processes that drive my pieces from concept to realisation.

Andrea Beveridge: I am a Scottish artist currently living and studying in the fine city of Edinburgh. My work predominantly circulates around the discussion of the differences and similarities between human life and that of animals and nature. Through my work I am attempting to investigate the intersection of where one begins and another ends and their relationship to one another. The link to the natural world can be direct or indirect and more often than not develops into a surreal abstraction of the original subject matter. Most importantly I am exploring my personal relationship and reactions to the natural environment.
